Ruth Hart-Stephens, Manheim’s vice president of Canadian business development, was inducted into the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) Hall of Fame.

Hart-Stephens was recognized for her life-long achievement and contribution to the association and automobile auction industry. When elected president of the NAAA in 1994, she was both the first woman and first Canadian to lead the association.

With her late husband, Homer Stephens, she started the four-lane auction in Toronto during the 1960s. Today the auction, located in Milton, Ontario, has grown to 175 acres with a 14-lane arena.
