ADESA Corp., an ALLETE company, announced completion of the North American vehicle remarketing industry’s first comprehensive customer satisfaction survey for dealers attending the company’s 52 wholesale vehicle auctions across the United States and Canada. In total, survey responses from over 7,700 dealers were collected, including nearly 6,200 in the U.S. and over 1,500 in Canada. Respondents included franchised dealers, independent used-car dealers, wholesalers, and other licensed dealers eligible to purchase vehicles at wholesale vehicle auctions. Dealers were asked to rate ADESA auctions where they do business on over 30 service areas. They were also asked to rank the importance of each of these areas. The service areas ranged from the dealer check-in process to the quality of service in auction restaurants. Operational areas evaluated included lot and lane organization, vehicle reconditioning quality, transportation, and facility condition. According to the survey results, the top three areas in both dealer importance and ADESA performance were in the areas of friendliness and competency of auction personnel, and the ability to accurately process vehicle titles.
