Nissan North America Adopts Chevin Software

November 16, 2017 - Press Release

Chevin Fleet Solutions is now implementing its web-based, enterprise-level software FleetWave at Nissan North America, the software provider announced.

The Nissan North America fleet consists of 28,000 vehicles that support the company's engineering, demonstrator, motor pool and employee car ownership programs.

FleetWave will be used to support more than 19,000 system users and will be integrated with numerous internal legacy systems, from Nissan's vehicle manufacturing system to HR, finance and even external supplier systems.

In North America, Nissan's operations include automotive styling; engineering; consumer and corporate financing; sales and marketing; distribution and manufacturing.

"FleetWave's comprehensive capabilities will be used to streamline many manual and labor-intensive processes at Nissan North America," said Ron Katz, senior vice president, North American Sales for Chevin.

FleetWave will enable Nissan employees to order, build and manage not only corporate vehicle inventory, but employee vehicles as well.
