Driving Dynamics has named two new commercial safety professionals who will help develop its portfolio of behind-the-wheel programs.

James Paterson joined Driving Dynamics as director of commercial training and operations, while Bruce Davisson was hired as manager of training for light-duty vehicle services, according to a release from Driving Dynamics.

Both have transitioned to Driving Dynamics after it acquired CTS this past July. They join Ben Langley, director of light-duty training services, to develop and oversee the company’s safety training services and its base of some more than 100 instructors across the U.S. and Canada.

Paterson spent the past 15 years with CTS, most recently as its commercial vehicle training director. Throughout his career Paterson has developed and supported instructors in delivering company-specific driver safety training to firms operating equipment on our nation’s roadways, according to Driving Dynamics.

Meanwhile, Davisson joined CTS in 2006, where in his most recent role he served as its light-duty division director. He is a member of the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Courses International Advisory Committee and past board member for the Association of Traffic Safety Information Professionals, Rocky Mountain Institute of Transportation Safety and the Colorado State Traffic Records Advisory Committee.
