North Carolina Equipment Fleet Hires Fleet Manager

Jock Young was named fleet manager for Carolina Tractor & Equipment (CTE) of Charlotte, N.C. CTE is the parent company to multiple business units including Carolina CAT, LiftOne, and Pinnacle Cranes.

Young joins CTE from Time Warner Cable where he managed the company's fleet purchasing and capital activities. At CTE he will be responsible for financial performance, policy, and staffing as well as creating enterprise programs in support of data collection, procurement, maintenance, fuel, and remarketing.   

Young has been managing corporate fleets for the past 20 years. He obtained CAFM certification in 2010 and has previously held fleet positions at Uni-Select, MasTec Advanced Technologies, and Recall North America.
