Donlen was presented a Stevie award for the fleet management company's mobile apps in the Business/Government category at the 13th Annual American Business Awards on Sept. 11.

"Donlen's mobile apps have driven cost and efficiency savings for our customers," said Jeff Pursell, Donlen's vice president of technology products. "Drivers utilizing the mobile apps are more engaged in the operation of their vehicles and exhibit more compliant behavior. Supporting figures include a 9% increase in preventive maintenance compliance, a 10% increase in national account vendor utilization, and a 14% increase in business and personal use reporting. As a result, our fleet professionals spend less time following up on non-compliant driver behavior. We are proud that our technology is helping our customers be more efficient."

The Stevie awards are focused on outstanding new products and technology-industry categories, including technology organization management. Stevie award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
