The Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) has been serving fleet managers and fleet stakeholders for more than 50 years. During that time, members — fleets, OEMs, and fleet management companies — have seen their responsibilities expand to encompass increasingly global operations.

During the upcoming Global Fleet Conference in Miami, Fla., AFLA leadership will introduce a new global initiative, which will expand the Association’s reach beyond the U.S. with a goal to become a repository of global best practices in fleet. AFLA President Brian Barber of LeasePlan USA will give an overview of AFLA’s Globalization Task Force. AFLA officers Michael Bieger of ADP, Shawn Dusosky of General Mills, and John Dmochowsky of Mondelez International will discuss trends in globalization and how it is changing fleet procurement. AFLA’s Director of Manufacturers Steve Auvenshine of General Motors will outline how globalization is impacting fleets’ relationships with the OEMs and the role that AFLA can play.

Produced by Bobit Business Media and Nexus Communication, the Global Fleet Conference, now in its third year, will be held June 15-16 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami, Fla.
