Dependable Auto Shippers Celebrates 60th Anniversary

November 06, 2014 - Press Release

Dependable Auto Shippers, the auto transport company, is celebrating 60 years of transporting cars, motorcycles, boats and recreational vehicles.

The company plans to develop a tracking device for all vehicle transports, which will communicate directly with the company’s service centers around the country according to John Roehll, executive vice president and co-owner of DAS. The real-time tracking device provides vehicle diagnostics and allows for more accurate estimated time of delivery.

DAS owns and operates its own private fleet of transports. In 2013, DAS carriers traveled 9,887,791 miles.

Sam London founded the company which started as a drive-away business in 1954. The Dallas-based company transports an estimated 100,000 vehicles domestically and internationally every year.
