JAC general manager Xiang Xinchu and the vice general manager of JAC International Zhang Peng recently led a JAC delegation to visit Algeria and attended the opening ceremony of JAC light truck’s first 4S shop in North Africa. This 4S shop is 4,000 square meters and cost an initial investment of US$12 million. The company said the new shop should greatly enhance JAC’s position in Algeria, where it has been doing business for the past 15 years.

JAC has also partnered with Emin Auto for the past 15 years. Emin’s CEO and Xiang Xinchu announced that preparations are being made for a JAC plant in Algeria. The market volume of JAC light-duty trucks in Algeria has reached approximately 30,000 units through Emin Auto’s nationwide network. The most popular light-duty vehicle is the JAC HFC 1040, according to the company.

JAC will further enrich the product lines and N-series light-duty trucks are being introduced to the North African market. In the future, the JAC high-end mini truck and wide-body trucks will also be tested in the Algerian market.
