Landi Renzo USA, a new subsidiary of Italian alternative-fuel systems maker Landi Renzo S.p.A., is planning to introduce a new variable-psi pressure regulator for natural gas vehicles, NGV Global reported.

The American subsidiary is also settling into its new U.S. headquarters in Torrance, Calif. The company hasn't yet disclosed what vehicles it will target for certification in the U.S.

However, Matt Weiss, vice president of sales and marketing, told Fleets & Fuels that the company was looking at opportunities for vans and perhaps even heavy trucks in the U.S. market.

Earlier this year, Toyota chose Landi Renzo S.p.A. as a supplier for the automaker's Aygo and Yaris LPG versions.
