Telogis Wins Network Products Guide Reader Trust Award

July 07, 2009 - Press Release

ALISO VIEJO, CA - Telogis' software application WorkForce has been named a winner of the Network Products Guide's 2009 Best Products and Services Award.

WorkForce is a handset based application that connects mobile workers to their back office.  It works in tandem with OnTrack, Telogis' award winning web-based fleet management application. Notable features include custom map layers, streaming satellite imagery, instant messaging using custom forms, navigation with heavy truck attributes, hours of service (HOS) reports, and real-time vehicle location. The seamless integration of web-based and mobile applications is a natural extension of Telogis' fleet management solutions.

OnTrack, Telogis' fleet management application delivers advanced functionality including a rich, web-based tracking interface, a suite of reports and exception alerts, engine diagnostics, dispatching, routing, and a CXO-level exception dashboard.  OnTrack has been uniquely designed with provisioning and administration tools to support large deployments of 1,000+ assets.

"The Network Products Guide recognizes the best technology products every year and we are honored that WorkForce has received this award," said Dave Cozzens, CEO of Telogis. "Features such as Satellite imagery and GIS overlays are important to companies in varied industries. For example, our utility customers use these tools so they can see where their infrastructure and assets are located -- eliminating paperwork and wasted time. WorkForce is a direct response to requests from our customers for increased operational efficiency."

"Increased end-user awareness and ongoing advances in technology are helping shape better products and services." says Rake Narang, editor-in-chief, Network Products Guide. "Telogis' WorkForce is bringing impressive improvements in mobile workforce management with first-to-market features such as streaming satellite imagery, navigation with heavy truck attributes, and custom forms driven by a wiki language. WorkForce's advanced capabilities made it a natural winner."
