MONTVALE, NJ - Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has appointed three new national account managers to cover its New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Central-South regions.

John Buxton will serve as national account manager for MBUSA, Fleet Operations, responsible for the New England area. Based in Boston, the newly created position will cover a territory that includes New England and upstate New York. Buxton brings nearly 20 years of fleet experience with Ryder Systems, GE Capital, and most recently as vice president of Fleet Services with Emkay, Inc.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Buxton will report to Mick Morris, department manager Fleet Operations.

Marc Sears will be responsible for MBUSA's Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining MBUSA, he served as large commercial regional account executive for Chrysler Motors, LLC from 2003-2008 and national fleet sales specialist for DaimlerChrysler Vans from 2002-2003. Sears' background also includes captive finance lending, dealer business development, used vehicle remarketing, and retail automotive sales management. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Morehouse College in Atlanta.

Michael Hottinger will be responsible for MBUSA's Central-South territory. Hottinger has 10 years experience in the fleet industry with GE Capital, working in a variety of functions including sales, operations, and quality. His work experience also includes working as a product manager for Armstrong Wood Products and category manager with Frito-Lay. Hottinger most recently worked for a small private hardwood molding supplier as the western sales manager.
