MT. LAUREL, NJ – Automotive Resources International (ARI) announced the promotion of Mark Bryan to manager vehicle acquisition services.

Reporting to Bob White, vice president of operations, Bryan will assume direct responsibility for all of ARI's vehicle ordering and delivery areas for cars, trucks, and equipment, including ARI's experts in supply chain management and truck/equipment specification services. "Mark's background will be invaluable as the industry manages the challenges and changes likely to come through the manufacturing industry," said White.

Mark Bryan joined ARI in 2007 as vehicle acquisition manager, overseeing 76 employees. In the past year, he guided new initiatives and shaved days and costs from ARI's supply chain management. These were three key undertakings: delivered a new and improved vehicle and equipment tracking solution that integrates data from each of ARI's strategic partners through every step of the order-to-delivery supply chain management process; cut the stock order-to-delivery time by more than 30 percent while accommodating clients' acquisition needs by adding a fully-automated, streamlined stock purchase component to ARI's online supply chain management tools; and implemented new procedures for secure auditing and reporting for clients with manufacturer competitive price assistance programs.

Announcing the promotion, Bob White stated: "This comes as part of our continuing efforts to ensure ARI is best structured to support the growth of new accounts while maintaining the industry's highest customer service levels and facing the challenges of a changing industry and business environment."

Bryan's previous work experience includes vice president/general manager, Miller Truck Leasing Company, and various other sales and management positions with Rollins Leasing Corp. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College).
