Michelin Will Raise Replacement and Commercial Tire Prices

GREENVILLE, SC – Michelin North America Inc. will raise prices on its Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, private, and associate brand passenger and light-truck replacement tires up to 12 percent, effective Sept. 1, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

In addition, Michelin will hike prices on its Michelin and BFGoodrich brand commercial tires up to eight percent, also on the same day. This price increase will also apply to Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. retreads.

The increases are necessary due to rising raw material, energy, and transportation costs.
