Seeing was believing for the 646 fleet professionals who gathered in Orlando, Fla., May 13-17, to take part in General Motors’ 2014-MY Fleet Preview. It also happened to be the theme of the two-wave four-day event.

Fleet management and rental company representatives attended a first wave of the preview, while the fleet managers attended in the second wave. Among the highlights were the surprise debuts of the City Express Van and the all-new Impala sedan.

Company leadership, including U.S. Vice President of fleet & commercial sales Ed Peper, U.S. Vice President of Chevrolet sales & service Don Johnson, and U.S. Vice President of Buick & GMC marketing Tony DiSalle, gave the fleet manager attendees in-depth briefings on the new intiatives and products, the company’s U.S. fleet program, and a peek into the future. The General Motors Fleet & Commercial Sounding Board also met with attendees.

During the event’s ride and drive, attendees had the opportunity to get a close look at all of the GM products from sedans to trucks and take them out for a spin during a sun-soaked Florida day.
