Continental to Increase Passenger and Light Truck Tire Prices 8.5%

FORT MILL, SC - Continental Tire The Americas (CTA) announced a price increase of up to 8.5 percent on all PLT Continental, General, and Proprietary Brand passenger and light truck tires in the U.S.

The company said the price increase will vary by product line and size. The price increase is effective as of November 1, 2011, for the U.S. market and is a response to the continuing rise in raw material cost, according to the company.
