CLOVER, SC - Performance Friction Z-Rated Brake Kits are making their mark in the time attack world in a big way. Drivers are finding out that switching to a full PFC brake package results in a stiffer, more responsive, and quicker modulating system that not only provides better drivability and handling, but quicker lap times. As a result, Performance Friction earned another big win over the weekend with Mike Bonanni and Berk Technology in the Inaugural Global Time Attack event at Willow Springs Raceway. This was the second win for Bonanni and Performance Friction this year alone at Willow.

The Global Time Attack event pitted drivers against the clock around the 2.5 mile historic Willow Springs Raceway just north of Los Angeles, California. Bonanni competed in the Berk Technology prepared BMW 135i outfitted with a full Performance Friction Z-Rated Brake Kit. Bonanni was able to break the RWD street tire, track record with a lap of 1:29.041 which beat the old record by 1.4 seconds. The fast time secured Mike the win in the Street GT and Street GT RWD class against a tough field of competitors.
