Goodyear Announces Commercial Tire Price Hikes

AKRON, OHIO – Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is raising prices on some of its commercialtires up to nine percent, effective Jul. 1, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine. The company’s Goodyear, Dunlop, andKelly brands in
North America will be impactedby the increase.

Prices havebeen raised due to continued increases in raw material, energy, andtransportation costs. Goodyear also raised prices on tread rubber for OTR tiresup to 12 percent on Jun. 1.
