Existing lease partnerships and agreements are too often evaluated only when they’re reaching the end of the lease-agreement term, as part of a regular rebid. Savvy fleet managers, however, will consider evaluating the relationship and agreement on an ongoing basis, based on new information, changes in the industry, or changes in the fleet or the company it serves. They must take care when doing so, though, because going about an evaluation in a thoughtless, hasty way can seriously upset an otherwise solid relationship with a leasing partner.
