PHH Arval held its Fleet Roundtable, an annual two-day conference, on October 10 and 11 at the Four Seasons in Baltimore, Md. The event brought nearly 200 clients, major automotive manufacturers, and other industry professionals together from around the world to explore the future of fleet and to learn about successful change management.

"Fleet Roundtable's purpose is to bring automotive industry leaders together so they may exchange information, connect with their peers, and share best practices," said Jim Halliday, senior vice president and chief business development officer, North America and president, PHH Canada. "We focused on giving our clients new ideas, tools, and the proactive solutions they can use to achieve their objectives. We're continually grateful for our clients' enthusiastic participation in this annual event."

The 2013 Roundtable featured discussions on alternative fuels, change management, and technology. The alternative-fuels session included esteemed industry, government, and academic experts sharing forward-thinking information to help PHH Arval clients make informed fuel choices.

In addition to valuable educational sessions, PHH Arval also held dynamic workshops on fleet cost reduction, telematics, and risk management. The first day wrapped up with the Business Impact Awards which recognized PHH clients' proactive implementation of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance fleet performance. Diane Lopez, of Abbott Laboratories, was the recipient of this year's PHH Arval Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the fleet industry and all that she does to enhance the fleet community.

Day two of the event featured an expo-style "ask the experts" event, a business update from PHH's President and CEO George Kilroy, and a look at the top-line results of PHH's Fleet Policy Survey, presented by Bob Sandler, vice president, Enterprise Consulting and Analytics.

The roundtable's keynote speech, delivered by Doug Lipp, president of G. Douglas Lipp & Associates, was entitled, "Leading Change: Capturing Hearts & Minds." Lipp, the author of eight books and a former Disney executive, runs an agency focused on customer service, leadership and change.
