ARI, a global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced that it has been named to this year’s InformationWeek 500, a list which honors the top technology innovators in the United States. This is the third year in a row and the fifth time overall ARI has been named to this prestigious listing.

ARI was recognized for the impact its IT investments have had on the company’s overall growth. In particular, company leadership was able to attribute a 15 percent increase in daily online transactions over the past 12 months to three specific improvements made to its IT infrastructure and systems.

First, the company implemented a new, intuitive user interface for its Web-based and mobile fleet management system, ARI insights. The new interface streamlines processes, improves the overall user experience, and reduces training time for new and occasional users.

Second, ARI completed a full system integration with its UK division, which was acquired in December 2011, allowing for the company’s complete suite of fleet management products and systems to be fully introduced into that market.

Finally, ARI partnered with SAP and was one of the first companies in the world to employ SAP’s innovative in-memory technology, which analyzes millions of data points 3,600 times faster than traditional technologies thus providing ARI’s clients with the critical insight needed to make impactful business decisions in real time.

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual InformationWeek 500 listing, and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments, and administrative practices of some of the best-known organizations in the country.
