DETROIT - Nine GM vehicles were recently awarded Vincentric's 2010 Best Fleet Value in America award.

Models awarded the Best Fleet Value distinctions are:

  • Chevrolet Impala Police Edition - Best Police Car Value* in Police Sedan Segment.
  • Cadillac SRX Base FWD - Premium Midsize Crossover Segment.
  • Chevrolet Express G1500 Cargo SWB - Full-size Cargo Van Segment.
  • Chevrolet Tahoe Commercial 2WD - Large SUV Segment.
  • Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 Work Truck Regular Cab 2WD 119 - ½ Ton Full-Size Pickup Segment.
  • Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD & GMC Sierra 2500HD Work Truck Regular Cab 2WD - ¾ Ton Full Size Heavy Duty Pickup Segment.
  • GMC Yukon Denali 2WD - Premium Large SUV Segment.

Vincentric used a comprehensive analysis of fleet lifecycle costs to identify the best fleet values in the industry. The eight cost factors that determined overall lifecycle costs were depreciation, fuel, insurance, opportunity cost, financing, maintenance, taxes and state fees, and repairs. These costs were integrated with the Vincentric Fleet Price, which estimates the acquisition cost for each vehicle in the study.

This year's awards mark the second consecutive year the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra ¾ ton pickup trucks won the Best Fleet Value in America awards. Additionally, this is the third consecutive year the Chevrolet Express Cargo Van and the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra ½ ton pickups won the award.
