ITASCA, IL – Emkay, Inc. was selected as the recipient of the 2009 Annual Award for Business Excellence in the Mid-Sized Company Category, based on its culture, philosophies, and results of operations, according to Emkay. The company competed against other Illinois-based businesses.

Judging was based upon quantifiable reasons for being recognized as a top-notch service organization. Along with operational excellence, judging criteria looked at overall corporate citizenship initiatives including but not limited to social, environmental, and corporate responsibility practices.
