Cephalon's Prettyman Retires

March 19, 2009

FRAZER, PA – Dick Prettyman, senior fleet administrator for Cephalon, Inc., is retiring March 27 after five years with the company.

Prettyman joined Cephalon following a 31-year career at DuPont in fleet and purchasing functions. Recognized as Automotive Fleet magazine's 1992 Fleet Manager of the Year, he has been active in NAFA Fleet Management Association, serving as chair of the organization's Safety Committee and the Philadelphia chapter vice-chair and chair. Prettyman was also a charter member of the GM Sounding Board.

At Cephalon, he supervised a 715-vehicle fleet. The company is interviewing for Prettyman's replacement.

In retirement, Prettyman plans to "relax, a lot of fly fishing and tying flies, kayaking, and some long walks."
