AssetWorks FleetFocus Software to Manage Continental's Ground Support Equipment Fleet

November 07, 2008

WAYNE, PA – AssetWorks, a provider of fleet enterprise asset management software and automated fuel systems, signed a fleet management software and implementation services contract with Continental Airlines in Houston, Texas.

Continental operates more than 17,000 pieces of ground support equipment (GSE) located at airports worldwide. The airline was looking for an experienced provider and required a best-of-breed EAM software solution that is easy to use, deep in functionality, and offers out-of-the box GSE asset and maintenance management functionality, reporting, and analytics.

"AssetWorks is well known within the airline industry for helping other major airlines including United Airlines, US Airways, and Air Canada manage their GSE operations," said Jody Lonergan, manager, Corporate GSE at Continental Airlines. "We feel this solution can help us to become more productive, increase efficiency, ease reporting, and ultimately minimize our expenses."

FleetFocus allows organizations to proactively manage inspections and preventative maintenance schedules with a keen eye on safety and compliance. The solution is browser-based and integrates with major back-office applications and customer home grown systems.
