MILWAUKEE– The Wisconsin NAFA Chapter will hold a meeting Oct. 7 to address "How Insurance Companies Set Prices for Automobile Insurance." The meeting and lunch will be held at the Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee (ADAMM) at 10810 West Liberty Drive in Milwaukee, Wis. The agenda includes:

9:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m.               Registration

10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.             Speaker Presentation

11:30 a.m.                               Lunch

Rick Fox, vice president – chief actuary at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, will provide an overview of how insurance companies set prices for automobile insurance. Topics will include relevant pricing factors, practical considerations, market cycles, differences between Personal and Commercial insurance, and thoughts on future directions.

Fox will also comment on the high cost of medical bills for a person severely injured in an automobile accident.
