Video: Ride & Drive 'Best Part' of Green Fleet Conference

November 15, 2013

Attendees of the 2013 Green Fleet Conference & Expo poured out of the Phoenix Convention Center on Oct. 1-2 to participate in the Ride & Drive Event.

More than 600 fleet managers and industry professionals attended an event that focuses on fleet sustainability, and 18 automakers provided vehicles for test drives. "I thought the Ride & Drive was the best part of the show," said Brian Trice, from TransEnergy Solutions in Portland, Ore.

The Ride & Drive included additional activities, such as Segway races, and fresh lemonade, coffee and snow cones, as well as several prizes.

"Educational sessions, the Ride & Drive, networking, having vendors all in one place, and learning what the top Green Fleet award winners are accomplishing and how they achieved their goals, is what makes this conference a must-attend event each year," said David Worthington, from the County of Sonoma, Calif.
