The U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program announced that Schwan's Home Delivery and ThyssenKrupp Elevator joined the National Clean Fleets Partnership.

The partnership, housed within Clean Cities, provides support to large private fleets seeking to reduce petroleum use through the deployment of alternative fuels, electric vehicles, fuel economy improvements, and other strategies.

Schwan's and ThyssenKrupp join 12 other Clean Fleets Partners: PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Coca-Cola, Osram Sylvania, FedEx, Staples, Enterprise Holdings, General Electric, Ryder, Verizon, AT&T, and UPS. Together, the 14 Clean Fleets Partners operate more than 1 million vehicles nationally.
