Toyota Corrects RAV4 EV, Scion iQ EV Fleet Sales Plans

July 19, 2011

TORRANCE, CA – Toyota sent out a news release that sets the record straight about its sales plans for the RAV4 EV and Scion iQ EV.

According to the automaker, reports had been saying that the RAV4 EV will be only marketed to fleet and car sharing programs, and this is not the case for this electric vehicle. Toyota said it intends to sell the RAV4 EV at retail as well.

However, Toyota stated that the Scion iQ EV will only be marketed to fleet and car sharing programs.
