New England Companies Order CNG Ford Transit Connect Taxis

WEST HAVEN, CT - Two Connecticut taxi cab companies -- Metro Taxi in West Haven, Conn., and the Yellow Cab Co. in Bloomfield, Conn. -- have each ordered 20 compressed natural gas (CNG) versions of the Ford Transit Connect Taxi for their fleets.

The Transit Connect Taxi is available with an engine preparation package for conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied propane gas (LPG).

Transit Connect Taxi package vehicles are now available for order.
