TROY, MI --- The Elder Automotive Group said its Tampa, FL, location has been selected by Fisker Automotive as one of the first U.S. retailers to market and service the automaker's luxury plug-in electric hybrid vehicle, the Fisker Karma.

Beginning with the initial $87,900, 100 mpg Karma sedan later this year, Elder Automotive Group will represent the premium green brand electric vehicle at its Jaguar and Aston Martin of Tampa dealership.

"This is such an incredible time in our industry, when we are on the leading edge of new technology that is becoming reality," said Irma Elder, CEO of the Elder Automotive Group. "We certainly look forward to showing the new Fisker Karma to our customers and will have our display models fully charged and ready to go beginning in early 2010."
