Telematics provider Zubie will integrate RepairPal, a repair shop locating service, into its mobile app, the company has announced.

RepairPal will give Zubie users insight into their vehicle's check engine light. When the light comes on, Zubie will provide information on the vehicle's specific issue and the action the user should take. Other details the app provides include the severity of the problem and an estimate on repair costs.

Zubie users will also have access to a list of shops certified by RepairPal, with the ability to schedule an appointment with almost 2,000 repair shops nationwide.

"Zubie’s technology is able to link customers with the RepairPal Certified network, getting them the assistance they need, when they need it most,” said Art Shaw, RepairPal CEO.
