ATLANTA  – NexTraq, the value leader of GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, announced that it has been ranked twenty-seventh on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s (AJC) Top Workplaces list in the small business category. More than 1,000 companies participated in the annual contest, held by the AJC and Workplace Dynamics.

Employees were sent surveys and asked to respond to a set of statements using a seven-point Likert scale. Each statement was tested to ensure a high correlation with how metro employees rate their workplaces. The resulting top 100 list consists of 20 large companies (500 or more employees), 30 midsize companies (150-499 employees) and 50 small companies (149 or fewer employees).

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, said, “We are honored to have made the AJC’s Top Workplaces list. This award means a great deal to me as NexTraq’s success depends on our employees. Knowing that our employees are happy and satisfied when they come into work each day is very important to me. We truly need innovative and dedicated employees to offer the latest advancements in the telematics space to our customers.”

NexTraq recently moved to expanded offices in the Perimeter area as the company has been hiring aggressively in the past year. Continued expansion is planned in all areas of the company as it continues to provide market-leading technology to the marketplace.
