GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services Develops an Integrated Telematics Platform

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN – GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services’ has developed an integrated telematics solution that enables companies to analyze all their vehicle information in one place — a fleet manager’s desktop. The telematics services will couple real-time vehicle performance data with existing fleet-wide information through the my.Dashboard portal. In addition, fleet managers will be able to customize the information to be displayed the way they want to see it.With GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services’ telematics solution, fleet managers can analyze the factors contributing to a higher fuel cost, such as use of vehicles outside of work hours, speeding, idling, etc. This information, combined with day-to-day fleet management data, allows fleet managers to reduce their operating costs.
