Renault will break into the Pakistan market following an agreement with a United Arab Emirates conglomerate group to produce and release vehicles in the country.

Al-Futtaim will assemble and distribute Renault vehicles in Pakistan, which will be initiated with the foundation of a production plant in Pakistan's largest city, Karachi, in 2018, according to Arabian Business.

Renault will be providing its products to the country and Al-Futtaim subsidiary, Al-Futtaim Automotive Pakistan (Private) Limited, will establish the assembly plant.

Details regarding the models that will be assembled at the plant have yet to be announced, but the automaker plans on selling models produced at the plant at some point in 2019, according to Gulf News.
