Ford's new CEO, Jim Hackett, has appointed Raj Nair to lead Ford North America and two other leaders for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, the company has announced.

Steven Armstrong will lead Ford of Europe, Middle East & Africa, while Peter Fleet will lead Ford Asia Pacific.

Ford announced an array of other moves, including appointments of Hau Thai-Tang to lead global product development and purchasing; Sherif Marakby to rejoin Ford as vice president of autonomous vehicles and electrification; and Ken Washington as vice president of research and advanced engineering, and chief technology officer.

Ford has also appointed Neil Schloss as vice president and chief financial officer of mobility; Kenneth Kent as vice president and treasurer; Bradley Gayton as group vice president and chief administrative officer and general counsel; and Jeff Lemmer as chief operating officer of information technology.

Dave Schoch is retiring after a 40-year career with the company.
