The 2017 Global Fleet Conference will offer in-depth presentations regarding global fleet supplier relationships as well as global procurement strategies.

James Jin, director of fleet procurement and operations, Merck, will examine the current and emerging trends in global fleet sourcing, while Jonathan Kamanns, supplier relationship management leader, Ingersoll Rand, will examine how fleets can use supplier relationship management (SRM) to improve their global fleet operation.

Kamanns’ presentation on global supplier relationship management will be held June 6. He will discuss best practices in SRM that will help fleets understand how to utilize other abilities their suppliers possess to improve the fleets productivity and profitability.

Jin’s presentation on global procurement will be hosted the following day, where he will explore the evolution of sourcing strategies, the need to build internal governance to enable strategy execution, and the integration of suppliers into value creation.

The 2017 Global Fleet Conference will be held June 6 to 8 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami. Fleet managers who register for the Global Fleet Conference by May 5 will receive preferred pricing.

More information on the 2017 conference and schedule of events can be found on the conference website.
