The Dubai Police General HQ has recently added six new Audi R8 and Audi Q7 cars to its super car patrol fleet as part of its efforts to reach out to UAE residents on traffic safety.

The new police patrol cars were announced when Lt. General Khamis Mattar Al Muzainah, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, received Ali Al Nabooda, general manager Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles, and the accompanying delegation from Audi Middle East at Dubai Police General Headquarters.

Al Muzainah said that Dubai Police Force has always sought, through the introduction of its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate, according to the automaker.

The new Audi R8 features a 5.2L V-10 and improved fuel economy of up to 13% compared to the previous model, according to the automaker.

The new Audi Q7 premium SUV offers luxurious comfort, the largest interior in the segment and a weight savings of up to 325 kilograms. The Q7 also has improved fuel efficiency that's 27% better than its predecessor, according to the automaker.
