Azuga, a provider of connected vehicle technology, is expanding its sales operations to serve over 100 fleets in 10 countries across Latin America, Europe, India, and parts of the Middle East.

The Mobile Resource Management (MRM) sector forecasts 50% growth over the next five years in Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Azuga plans to make the necessary investments in its plug-and-play technology to meet the growing global demand, according to a release.

In six months, Azuga helped Whirlpool Mexico's Home Service Technician division implement its plug-and-play technology in 100 vehicles. As a result, the fleet has saved 500,000 pesos (approximately $23,000) per year in maintenance, fuel, and operational costs.

The Silicon Valley-based telematics company combines traditional GPS fleet tracking with driver visibility, gamification, employer-funded rewards, social sharing, and Azuga-funded awards. Its telematics system focuses on offering driver-centric features to improve company morale and increase overall ROI.
