Toyota's hydrogen fuel cell sedan will retail for about $70,000 when the automaker introduces it in Japan in April, before rolling it out in the U.S. and Europe during the summer of 2015.

Toyota has also released images of the exterior design of the fuel cell sedan that was first inveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2014.

Toyota is setting the price of the sedan at roughly 7 million yen (or about $68,810). However, Toyota has said pricing for the U.S. and Europe hasn't been determined.

Sales of the vehicle in Japan will be restricted to areas with fueling infrastructure.

Full specs of the vehicle have not been released, but the vehicle will offer a range of approximately 435 miles according to results obtained under the Japanese government's vehicle testing program.
