Nissan is reintroducing the Datsun brand into four global markets nearly three decades after producing the last Datsun-branded vehicle in 1986.

Nissan will deliver the first Datsun Go city cars to India on March 19 — the centennial of the first DAT car introduced in Japan. The cars will initially be introduced in Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Nissan Motor Private India Limited will distribute the vehicles in the country, making them available at more than 120 Datsun dealers in India.

Nissan also plans to introduce Datsun vehicles in Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa in 2014.
