Global 2015 Jeep Renegade SUV Debuts in Geneva

The 2015 Jeep Renegade compact SUV debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show Tuesday with seven engine choices depending on the global market.
The Renegade will be offered with two gasoline engines when it arrives in the U.S. at the end of 2014. The Sport and Latitude versions will come standard with a 1.4L turbocharged inline four generating 160 horsepower and 170 lb.-ft. of torque. A 2.4L inline four generating 184 hp and 177 lb.-ft. of torque will be optional. Those offerings will be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
In all, the Jeep Renegade will offers 16 powertrain combinations around the globe, including two diesel options and a flex-fuel engine. Various transmissions including a nine-speed automatic and one dual-dry clutch manual will be offered outside the U.S.
Jeep also introduced a diesel-engine Cherokee in Geneva that will be offered only in Europe.
