Emkay has donated $10,000 to the Calgary Red Cross Flood Disaster Relief Fund in the wake of flooding in Calgary in June. The flood shut down entire city blocks for days, Emkay stated, as water flowed down city streets. Emkay was spared by the flood but wanted to show its support for the people of Alberta affected by the disaster, according to the company.

“Emkay was lucky in that we were spared by this horrendous occurrence,” said Paul Turner, president of Emkay Canada. “But we wanted to show support for all of our family, friends and clients affected by this awful event.”
