WEX Fleet Card Certified for Canada

June 19, 2013

AJB Software Design, Inc., a provider in integrated payment solutions, today announced that it is the first to be certified for WEX’s Fleet Card Management program for Canada. AJB’s FIPay Payment software has been certified for use with WEX’s new cross-border, and Canadian fleet payment solution, enabling merchants to accept the WEX cobranded fleet management card and streamline its cross-border operations, and allowing business owners to ease administrative burdens, and drive down the cost of operating and managing their commercial vehicle fleets.

“For over 18-years, AJB has focused on making it easy for our merchant customers to migrate to new and emerging forms of payments,” said Pat Polillo, AJB vice president sales and marketing. “By being ahead of the curve in supporting WEX’s new Fleet Card program, AJB makes it easy for merchants to accept the WEX card, establish their own proprietary card with WEX and add commercial volume.”

WEX’s card program helps businesses better control the cost of vehicle expenses through easy to use tools that allow them to set limits on fuel, service and merchandise for enforcement of company purchase policies, according to the company.

“We are excited to work with AJB to bring the WEX Specification to the Canadian market,” said Peggy Watson, director of fleet products and marketing at WEX. “We believe our authorization specifications offer superior controls that will benefit fleets, merchants and the fleet management companies alike.”
