LOS ANGELESJeffrey Hurrell, CAFM, has been promoted to global fleet program manager for Hewlett Packard (HP), effective Nov. 1. He was previously North America Fleet Program Manager.

In this new role, Hurrell will manage HP’s Global Fleet Program in all regions, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. The HP fleet is comprised of more than 25,000 vehicles globally.

“The role was newly created within Global Procurement Programs and I was selected to assume global responsibilities,” Hurrell explained. “Within the role, I am looking to bring consistent processes to global fleet programs, while accounting for regional requirements and differences. The goal is to ensure best-in-class performance of the global fleet program.”

Hurrell has worked in the fleet industry for more than 15 years, and also has a background in the rental car industry. He has been employed at HP for more than five years. Hurrell also is a member of the GE Client Advisory Board.

A three-time nominee for Professional Fleet Manager of the Year, Hurrell was nominated for the prestigious Automotive Fleet award in 2009, 2011, and most recently this year in 2012.
