U.S. Bank Voyager has formed a partnership with fuel distributor Pinnacle Petroleum, the bank has announced.

The Pinnacle Petroleum Card, which is used by commercial and government fleets, is now accepted at more than 320,000 fuel and maintenance locations on the nationwide Voyager Network.

"Partnering with Voyager gives our cardholders access to one of the largest fleet-fueling acceptance networks in the nation," said Liz McKinley, Pinnacle's founder and president. "On top of that, U.S. Bank's spend control and data reporting capabilities are second to none. The partnership is already helping us to expand our customer base and increase our worth as a WBE. We are delighted with what we've seen so far and look forward to a bright future together."

The Voyager Channel Partner program allows partners to offer Voyager Fleet Cards and generate revenue based on purchases of their card holders at retailers and private fueling sites. Pinnacle joins a nationwide network of independent fuel card providers offering controlled ways to purchase fuel and maintenance services through the Voyager Network.

"Fast-growing fuel distributors like Pinnacle play a pivotal role in the Voyager Channel Partner program because of the relationships they foster in providing for the energy needs of the communities they serve," said Ramel Lindsay, manager of strategic partnerships and business development for the U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Card. "Joining with us means they can integrate local representation with nationwide acceptance. We welcome Pinnacle to our channel partner family and look forward to helping them take their offering to a new level."

Pinnacle Petroleum joins Richmond, Va.-based James River Solutions as one of two certified Woman Business Enterprises (WBE) in the Voyager Channel Partner Program. Pinnacle is nationally certified under the Supplier Clearinghouse and the Women Business Enterprise Network Council (WBENC) programs, among others. James River is certified under Virginia's Small, Woman and Minority (SWaM) Program.
