SCOTTSDALE, AZ - GPS Insight, a leading supplier of GPS tracking solutions for commercial and municipal fleets, announced that it has partnered with Wright Express, a global provider of business payment processing and information management solutions. Both companies are working together to assist customers in managing fuel card usage and identifying fuel card fraud.

As a result of the alliance between GPS Insight and Wright Express, end users are now able to generate reports on all fuel card transactions, and more importantly, see flagged activity where a specified vehicle was not present for the associated purchase transaction. This type of fuel card integration also allows for the calculation of MPG data and anomalies, as well as the easy identification of non-fuel purchases and an IFTA state mileage/fuel purchase report. Many more joint developments are planned. These reports are all available within the GPS Insight reporting suite, which now consolidates the management of fuel card transaction data and fleet activity.

Rob Donat, Founder and CEO of GPS Insight, commented, “The benefits of combining fuel purchase data with GPS fleet tracking data are enormous. We wanted to share these capabilities with our customers at this time due to the significant increases in fuel price, and Wright Express was the right partner for us as well as most of our customer base. We look forward to advancing our suite of tools with Wright Express over the next few months.”

This valuable functionality is available to all GPS Insight and Wright Express customers completely free of charge. GPS Insight and Wright Express are excited to be taking GPS fleet tracking to the next level, enabling fleet managers nationwide to take full control of their fleets.
