NEW YORK --- Crude oil prices on Monday, May 12, stabilized a little on the New York Mercantile Exchange as the dollar posted gains against the euro and yen, UPI reported.

The dollar traded up at 103.95 yen in the morning. Meanwhile, the euro traded at $1.5449.

Crude oil prices dropped 68 cents to $125.28 per barrel. The price of reformulated gasoline blendstock fell 0.0172 cents to $3.184 per gallon, UPI reported.

The price at the pump climbed to a national average record of $3.718 for a gallon of unleaded, compared to Sunday's price of $3.707 a gallon, AAA reported.
