Crude Price Climbs to $93.83 a Barrel in Today's Trading

NEW YORK --- Forecasts for harsh winter weather prompted oil prices to rise today, with light, sweet crude for February delivery climbing $1.14 to reach $93.83 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.Demand for fuel is expected to surge in the coming days, the Associated Press reported. Also contributing to the rise in prices were political tensions in the Middle East. In London, Brent crude gained $1.66 to reach $92.73 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange, the AP reported.
