LOS ANGELES – The Toyota Camry Hybrid has been named by Motor Trend as the Car of the Year 2007, according to the Web site www.h2daily.com. The car features a 2.4L four-cylinder engine and a specially designed motor driven by electricity with a total output of 192 horsepower, and it is also to be noted having an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 40 mpg/city, 38 mpg/highway.
Green Car Journal, a magazine specialized on advanced transportation, has also named the Camry Hybrid as its Green Car of the Year.
